How it works
We are here to support you through every stage of your “matching process” from the initial contact, filtering your potential buddies and getting to know your chosen travel buddy before the trip.
We even get in touch with you in your return to make sure that you had a great holiday. Here is how it works:
STEP 1
Registration and getting to know you
Pay the £20 Registration Fee. and then complete our simple questionnaire.
Return it to us with a recent photograph of yourself so that we can enter your profile in our database.
Once received, we will call you to get to know more about you and your
travel buddy requirements. This ensures that you are matched with people
who share the same interests and want the same things from their holiday
as you do. We recommend that you meet your travel buddy as far in advance
as possible, preferably 8-9 months before the trip, to ensure that you get
to know each other well and avoid any surprises once you are away! We would
advise you that the wider the locations that you chose for your holiday,
the more likely the success will be of finding the perfect buddies for travel.

STEP 2
How are Buddies vetted?
Your match is selected because you have several things in common
We have an optional question on the registration of Police check yes/no
We offer an optional personal telephone call interview, to ensure all your
requirements are met and to get to know your buddy well
STEP 3
Buddy Selection
You can choose none, one or all of the profiles as potential buddies to meet.
Charges are as follows:
- £25 for one match
- £65 for two matches
- £80 for three matches
- £100 for four matches
On receipt of payment, you will receive the contact details for your match together with a newsletter of 7 tips to successful travel and a holiday ideas brochure with suggestions of initial meeting places to meet your new buddy.
Secure payment is made through PayPal. Simply follow the PayPal process for making payment, and you will be returned to the Buddies4Travel site.
STEP 4
Meeting your Buddy
It is up to you to arrange meetings with your chosen matches, but we are here to provide advice (should you require it) on suitable meeting places, questions to ask and activities to do together to make sure that you are compatible and become good friends.
